Leoma was born on October 8th, 1882. Leoma's father was Nathaniel Greene Kimbler and her mother was Martha Melvina Collins (Kimbler, Back).  Her paternal grandparents were William H Kimbler and Nancy Jane Picklesimer (Kimbler); her maternal grandparents were Isaac B Collins and Nancy Jane Black (Collins). She had two brothers and a sister, named AreFonzo, George and Mary.  She was the youngest of the four children.  She died at the age of 90 on April 16th, 1973.
