Pearley was born in July 1879. Pearley's father was Winfield Scott Kimbler and her mother was Malinda Salyer (Kimbler). Her paternal grandparents were William H Kimbler and Nancy Jane Picklesimer (Kimbler); her maternal grandparents were Martin Salyer and Susanna Salyer (Salyer). She had a brother and a sister, named Walter and Minnie. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named William, Hattie and Clotine.- General Notes
