Mary was born on December 31st, 1826. Mary's father was Abraham Landers and her mother was Nancy Nelson (Landers).  Her paternal grandparents were John Landers and Lucy Johnston (Landers); her maternal grandparents were James Nelson and M Twedle (Nelson).  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 70 in 1896.
